God heals the broken hearted

I surrender all to Jesus

Students of Kitende S.S.  respond to an altar call

This afternoon Rev. Samuel Muwonge led the Entebbe Archdeaconry Mission and School Ministry team to Kitende Secondary School to minister to the students.

His message was based on the theme: God heals the broken hearted.

"God promises to mend your hearts, heal them and strengthen you" he said amidst shouts of praises. He asked them to let go of the past. Don't live in your yesterday or your tomorrow, live in your today.

He told them that there was hope to smile again even when everything seemed deem. He later on made an alter call. 

As the hymn I surrender all was being played by the organist, one by one who had been touched by the message stood to his/her feet raising the hands and said a prayer after the Reverend asking Jesus to enter their hearts and be their Lord and King and Saviour.

Over 800 students this afternoon accepted the Lord to be their Saviour.

At the end of it all, Reverend Muwonge prayed for the students to be restored to be excellent in whatever they are doing.
